We are Jade and Jeff. We offer calm, personalized in-home dog boarding
from our cozy, dog-friendly home in San Mateo, serving nearby Bay Area communities. We are dedicated to redefining the standard of pet care by constantly seeking ways to enhance the quality of our service. Whether we’re with your dog for two nights or two weeks, we go above and beyond to meet the unique requirements of your pet.
As a retired husband-and-wife team, we’re fully committed to providing attentive, enrichment-based, care filled with the love, playtime and belly rubs your dog deserves. By limiting our care to just three pups at a time (four pups during peak/holidays), we’re able to create a peaceful, stress-free retreat for every guest. Our pup guests are free to roam comfortably throughout the house and enjoy supervised access to our fully-fenced front yard, backyard, and patio. We don’t run
a kennel-style dog boarding setup. Instead, we provide a quiet, in-home, crate-free environment where dogs can relax, nap, explore, and be part of our daily home life.
We understand that every pet is unique, with their own individual needs and quirks. That's why we take the time to get to know each pup personally, ensuring they feel safe, relaxed and happy while in our care.
Whether it's a weekend getaway or a long-term stay, we know leaving your pet in someone else’s care is never easy. We hope to bring you peace of mind, knowing your dog is in our family home, receiving the dedicated one-on-one attention and personal care they deserve.
What We Offer
Our lifestyle allows us to provide consistent, around-the-clock care in a true home setting. We plan carefully so dogs are not left alone for more than four hours. Usually,
at least one of us is home.

Enrichment Activities
Enrichment experiences like treat scavenger hunts in the yard, sensory and scent games, hide and seek, unrushed sniffari walks and puzzle toys to keep curious minds engaged and having fun.
Comfortable Sleeping Spots
Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable. Some curl up on their own dog beds, some settle in the living room, some sleep in our bedroom. Bedtime routines are tailored to each dog’s normal habits to ensure a calm and familiar night. We don’t require crates, but if your dog finds comfort and security sleeping in their crate, you're absolutely welcome to bring them here.

Daily structured walks, typically 20 - 30 minutes, along with additional shorter outings and yard time throughout the day. Walks are paced to your dog’s age, energy level, and routine. Personalized feedings according to your instructions, and plenty

We’re fully insured under a top-tier, comprehensive pet care business policy, Business Insurers of the Carolinas, with a liability limit up to two million dollars so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
