Prepare for Your Dog's PupMont Stay

PACKING LIST: WHAT TO BRING... AND WHAT TO LEAVE AT HOME

We try to keep packing simple. PupMont provides most of the everyday supplies your dog will need, so there’s no need to pack the whole house.

Please label all belongings with your dog’s name, including the main bag or container you use to bring everything. Other dogs may be staying with us at the same time, and clearly labeled belongings help us keep everything organized and make sure it all goes home with the right pup.

What Should I Bring?

Your Dog’s Regular Food

Please bring enough of your dog’s regular food for the entire stay, plus a couple of extra portions in case of travel delays.

Please portion food into a reasonably sized, sealed container or smaller bag rather than bringing a full-size bag of food. Space is limited, and smaller containers help us keep each dog’s food fresh, clean, and organized.

Medications & Supplements

Please bring all medications and supplements your dog will need during the stay, along with a couple of extra doses in case your return is delayed.

For prescription medications, please bring:

· Each medication in its original prescription bottle

· Clear written instructions with the dosage and timing

· Enough medication for the entire stay, plus a couple of extra doses

Please do not bring loose pills in unlabeled bags or containers.

Helpful tip: If your dog normally takes medication hidden in something specific, such as peanut butter or cheese, feel free to include a small amount so we can keep their routine familiar.

Collar & ID Tag Are Required

Please bring your dog wearing a secure collar with an identification tag attached, even if they normally wear only a harness for walks. For security reasons, dogs cannot be accepted without their collars.

For added safety, we’ll attach a temporary AirTag to your dog’s collar during their stay.

One Comfort Item

A familiar scent can help a dog settle into a new environment, but one comfort item is usually all they need.

Good options include:

· An unwashed T-shirt that smells like you

· A small blanket your dog already uses at home

· A favorite stuffed toy or other small comfort item

PupMont provides:

· Food or water bowls

· Slow feeders or food-dispensing bowls

· Dog waste bags

· Plenty of toys

· Orthopedic, memory foam dog beds

· General enrichment supplies

· Treats (We provide a variety of healthy treats, including freeze-dried liver treats, nightly dental chews, beef jerky treats, and frozen lick mats with organic dog-safe peanut butter, apple sauce, yogurts, ripe bananas – all with no extra charge)

What Should I Leave at Home?

To keep your dog’s belongings simple and easy to manage, please leave behind:

· Crates are not necessary, but optional if your dog finds comfort in them

· Food and water bowls

· More than 1 toy

· Rawhides chews

· Full-size or loosely packed food bags

· Expensive, sentimental, or irreplaceable belongings

A good rule of thumb: if you’d be heartbroken if something were lost, damaged, or chewed, it’s best to leave it at home.
